Employee Card
When your need for security is at a peak, a system of ID cards is the first means of defense against unwanted visitors. Whereas the most basic ID cards identify guests at conferences and meetings, today's security needs demand a tighter system for most organizations. Many security companies now specialize in unique ID cards that will allow you to track and tabulate your group.
The primary function of ID cards is for security, but many companies are using the cards for even greater uses. Many employees' ID cards are used to sign them in and out of the building, serving as a time clock in some instances, and for safety reasons in others. (In case of a fire or other emergency, building staff will know how many people to evacuate.) Other companies take the ID card a step further, allowing employees to add money onto their personal identification and then swipe it in the company cafeteria. And others require the ID card to log into a personal profile on a company computer.
